Overview

The Retail Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Retail Manager with the day-to-day
operations of the Rock Shop, ensuring Guest satisfaction, and upholding Hard Rock Brand
standards and core values while meeting or exceeding Hard Rocks business objectives and
goals.

Responsibilities

 Communicating with the Retail Manager on regular basis, reporting on Sales, KPIs &
KRAs.
 Following directions provided by the Retail Manager/MOD.
 Supporting the Retail Manager in administrative tasks (i.e. validates assortment
availability, inventory counts & levels, follow up on orders, etc.)
 Supervising deliveries by counting and checking product quality to ensure that the
billing and delivery meet amount and standards.
 Inspecting Waste and Loss prevention, monitoring all Returns and Exchanges,
validating all Comps and Discounts through daily inspection (only Managers are allowed
to complete a Comp).
 Preparing the Rock Shop and RSAs for shift and ensures the Rock Shop is ready to open
according to standards.
 Performing RSAs’ tasks such as pulling items, displaying in Rock Shop, sell and ring
up sales, return items and helping in the Rock Shop, to ensure the quality of the
guest experience.
 Leading by example: Following Steps of Service, P.A.R.T.Y. steps, L.O.U.D. and
Amplified Service to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
 Listening to guests requests and needs and communicates to the Management
team. Resolving guest complaints with MOD.
 Maintaining the highest standards of brand, local health, hygiene, and Rock Shop,
storage and warehouse safety requirements.
 Monitoring and coaching employees on performance, compliance with procedures and
workload. Informs management of employees who fail to meet standards.
 Ensuring the UNITY guest loyalty program is executed properly within the Rock Shop.

Qualifications

 Top performer and Certified Trainer within Department.
 Full time employee.
 Proficiency communicating (speaking, reading, and writing) in English,
bilingual preferred.
 Proficiency in relevant technology (POS, KDS, Inventory System, Hard Rock UNITY®,
etc.).
 Proficiency in and can demonstrate Retail knowledge.
 Retail Certifications up to date.
 Minimum of 2-3 years retail/hospitality industry experience preferred.

 Ability to move throughout the office and cafe during visits (standing, walking, kneeling,
bending) for extended periods of time.
 Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
 Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
 Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
 Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.
 Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance,
carry) up to 10 pounds.
 Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
 Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment
